Help Auto Backup album?

I don't recall any other phone I've had doing this, but when I go into the Gallery app there are there albums: Camera, screenshot, and Auto Backup.

The Auto Backup has a little chrome icon in the lower left corner...

How do I delete this backup? I turned off photo syncing with Google+ and deleted the pictures there, but the album is still on my phone. There's no option that I can see to delete pictures via Gallery -- I can select them and share, but no trashcan to delete.

I do use Chrome on my phone... but don't see any photo backup setting there.

I have gone into Gallery > settings and turned off photosync... so no new pictures are being added to this backup album.

I'm at a loss as how to delete it... ideas?

Go into Google Sync & uncheck Google Photos...than into Apps & find the Gallery app & click on it, click on 'Clear Data'...do the same with Picasa Uploader. Open your Gallery like normal & Picasa pics will be gone...if you turn on Sync Google Photos, they will come back.
