I connect via bluetooth to my car radio so I have had it set up to auto turn on the bluetooth when I plug the phone into my car charger. I also have the screen stay-awake set to do this as well. I was using an app called "bluetooth power profile" to do this but every now and again I had an issue where it wouldn't auto turn on the bluetooth and the screen would turn off. I thought it might be a problem with that app so I switched to "Green Power" which also offers this bluetooth function.
However, this has also stopped working so I am thinking that this is an OS issue rather than an app issue.
Since the bluetooth and screen stay-awake are controlled independently (screen stay-awake is in the main android application settings) I think it must be the phone is not recognizing that it is plugged in. It does charge however and the notification bar icon indicates that it is plugged in and charging.
Has anyone experienced this?
Any ideas how to remedy it?
