Help Auto Brightness fix?

Is there going to be an auto brightness fix for the xperia play. This is getting ridiculas. I sit in my room where its alittle dark & the brightness auto adjusts to where its harder to see but in the light it goes nice n bright.

does 2.3.3 ave a fix for this or is there an app?
