Help auto brightness fluctuates

Where is the sensor? The screen starts to dim to adjust when I type on the phone. A little annoying.

I have, but I couldn't tell you what light conditions cause it.

Mine fluctuates all the time.

Mine too, for that reason I turned off auto-brightness. I find it annoying to have the screen brightness change just because the phone is tilted 'that way' instead of 'this way' - or in the case of typing, because the shadow of your hand falls across the sensor.

Mine does the same thing, especially when I'm looking at something even for a second it goes dimmer. It isn't that much of a problem I figure its just doing it to maintain the battery.
