Auto install apps

guys

sometimes i have to reboot my phone on the road if an app like google maps doesn't work. When i reboot, many apps start auto-updating themselves and i hate them when in the car because it slows down the phone

Any way to disable auto update on the phone or prompt yes/no before all updates start?

Thanks

like through the play store?
open play store app
press menu button (3 vertical dots in upper right corner)
choose settings
uncheck "auto update apps"
or leave it checked and only check "update over wi-fi only"
that last one will only update the apps over wifi so you still get the auto update but it shouldn't effect you in the car.

To add to what the previous poster suggests... the auto update after reboot is a Play store app issue. ie; Sometimes apps are not auto updating as they should until the phone reboots.
