Auto on/off?

SIAP - Does the Incredible have an auto on/off feature? I really liked that on my BB Curve.

If not, is there an app for that? TIA.

It will cut off when the battery runs out. What on/off feature are you talking about with the curve? Who turns their phone off?

The curve has like a auto standby feature. Basically like a sleep/hibernate mode you can set it to turn of/on at certain times to save battery and stuff like that.

I do not believe there is one for android. t works on BB's because they way they are made. When you power it off you don't really turn it off just goes into a really low power state. Thats why you need to do a battery pull every once in a while. its like a real restart.

I had my Curve set to automatically turn off/standby at 1 A.M. and power back on at 6 A.M. Alarm was set for 6:15. I set it up that way to preserve the battery. Just a nice feature that I liked.

Locale is an app that lets you turn features on and off at set times or locations or both. Maybe that would help?

There's no auto-off feature that I can find.

I need something that turns off the verizon radio signal, i work in a casino and my phone dies fast because it is constantly searching for signal, ill try hooking it up to the Wi-Fi, but thats no guarantee, depends on IT if they have it locked. Anything like that? Is that Airplane-Mode?

Yes, Airplane mode should turn off the radio.

Airplane mode turns off all radios (WiFi, GPS, CDMA) but maintains all other functions.
It will save battery life but you won't be able to make/receive calls.
