Auto screen brightness: too dim?

Anyone else finding the auto screen brightness on the reverb seems too low?

In indoor use, the screen seems to be about half the brightness of the htc evo (when compared side by side). The sensor is definitely functional since the brightness increases to maximum if i place the sensor under a lamp, it just seems to like very dim screens for indoor use.

Yea i have the same critique, way too dim for indoor use

same problem here. I don't use auto screen brightness because of this issue.

I agree. I would normally say that it looks like Samsung got it wrong, but I had a 4th gen iPod Touch and its auto brightness was too dim as well. Someone needs to perfect it for sure.

Well, it's good to hear that i'm not imagining the darkness of the screen.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that some day a kind dev offers a rom that offers a better auto brightness.
