Help auto scrolling in text messages

has this happened to anyone? i was walking..and apparently i did something..

one of my text messages were highlighted in green and it scrolled to the left, so i could read the mess without opening it up... haha am i making sense?

i've tried to duplicate this with no success...

any idea? thanks

it happened to me also but could never duplicate and would like to have that feature -- any feedback from anyone
