Hi All,

I am using an Evo3D as my work phone. I have an app from Telenav Track that I use to clock in and out. However, it seems as if every time I go to clock out for lunch or at the end of my shift, Telenav has been stopped to a point where I have to clock back in before i can either take a lunch or go home. does any one know of a way to keep the app from closing?

the one time I want an app keep running it doesnt.

Correct me if I'm wrong mods but Android will close an app after it determines you are not using the app anymore, the app is having problems (force close), or if the OS needs to free up some memory.

I would have to say there is a conflict between Gingerbread and your Telenav Track app. Gingerbread closes the app because its not being used. Whomever developed the app needs to code it like the Navigation app on our phone. Meaning the app can run forever until you exit out of the app or it loses a data source (3G, 4G, or WiFi). The app should continue to run even when the phone is asleep like the Navigation app can. I blame coding on this minor problem.
