Just looking in my settings and come to find out I have 4.1.1 now .it must have been an auto update because I did not do it what happened to my ICS.oh yeah this is a galaxy tab 2 7.0?
It probably was updated to 4.1.1 (jellybean). I think auto-update is set 'on' by default. We're waiting for 4.1.2 to come along, some have gotten it and some have not. I haven't.
There were lost of discussions on this (upgrade from ICS to JB) a few months back. In ICS there was no way to avoid the auto-update, unless you never accept the Samsung Software Update Disclaimer when first using the tablet.
In JB there is an option to avoid further auto-updates.
Pretty much moot at this point as 4.2.2 will be the end of the line for the Tab 2.
Everything sounds a bit far away but Samsung really wants to update all tablets in Q2 and Q3 to Android 4.1.2 or maybe directly to Android 4.2.2. Back in March
