Just an FYI SMSAwake app works like a champ for waking the evo when u get a sms message. You can set how many seconds it stays awake too.
I was worried about wearing out the power button because you to manually wake the phone when u get a message.
Still have to slide the screen lock but auto-awake is really nice.
