Help Automatic date/time setting

Has anyone got the Automatic date/time setting to work.

I was suspicious that mine didn't so I set the time to a few minutes fast and then turned on the "Automatic" setting hoping that it would correct itself.

A week later, the time is still a few minutes fast.

I am on the Three network.

Is this a known problem?
Is it a problem on all networks?

Hello CullyJoker.

Many Android devices don't display the correct time anyway, no matter whether they're set to sync or not. GPS is the culprit, in part.

But, if the time is set manually to a known accurate source, then it should remain at that interval and, as you report, "a week later the time is still a few minutes fast." That means it stayed at the accuracy/time you set it to.

There are apps which address this and other issues about Android clocks.

Yes !!!!!! :-)

Both my galaxy 5 and my W has always been very accurate time, so there must be other things that are causing your lag
