Help Automatically goes to full version of website rather than mobile

I guess I am one of the few people who actually likes going to the mobile version of websites. I just got my HTC Sensation, so bear with me on this, because i THINK it's Internet Explorer that's set up as the default browser....

But, when I go to a site like olivegarden.com for example, the browser automatically pulls up the full desktop version of the website rather than automatically redirecting me to the mobile version.

Is there a way to fix some settings to let the browser send me to the mobile version of a website when there's a redirect script?

Also, if you feel like answering another question, the default temperature setting is in Celsius, rather than Fahrenheit. How do I change that, like on the widgets and stuff?

I sure hope I will enjoy this HTC Sensation - it was between that and the Galaxy S2, and I also may be weird about this, but the S2 just seemed a little too big for what I wanted.

First of all, Internet Explorer doesnt exist for Android. IE is a licensed Microsoft product, so on mobile phones they only appear on Windows Phones. I would assume you would be talking about the default stock browser, the one that came with the phone.

I am using Dolphin HD (free from market) and going to the site you mentioned, the mobile site worked fine. I would suggest going into the settings menu of your browser and change the user agent to "Android". I am using a Samsung so I can't say the exact location of the settings on your phone.

For the second question, try tapping on the widget, then hit the menu key.

And thanks for understanding about the browser name. For several years, I've used Safari on IOS, so Android is totally new to me.
