Automotive black silicone for light leakage....

Thanks to whoever it was a couple/few weeks ago that suggested using automotive black silicone for light leakage problem.

I had moderate light leakage along the entire bottom and most of both sides of the screen, which was pretty noticeable in a dark environment.

I spread it along the bottom and both sides, pushing it as well as I could into the crevices. It was vet easy to clean up.....VERY EASY!..and it worked perfectly.

I now have no light leakage in the darkest of rooms.

Thanks again forum!

That won't correct the streaks of light from the buttons on bottom going onto the screen. Mine is starting to get worse, and my screen is now about up enough for me to comfortably get my fingernail under it.
