Yep!

Was said it couldn't be done.

Well, here it is:

Newest!

Version 6.0.1.5

Both a ext3 version AND a vfat version!

*** ext issue on sdcard issue fixed.

-----------------------------------

ext3 sd-ext formatted partition

Temporary update.zip (No root needed)

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/72935938/CWM-6.0.15-Fixed.zip

Copy the above file to your sdcard (not in a folder), rename it as 'update.zip'

Can be flashed by stock recovery and by other CWM recoveries.

Your phone reverts to your regular recovery when restarted.

------------------------------------

Permanent flash. Needs root

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/72935938/CWM-6.0.15-Fixed.img

Copy the above to your sdcard

Start an adb shell or your terminal

Type:
Code:
su
flash_image recovery /sdcard/CWM-6.0.15-Fixed.img
reboot recovery

-----------------------------------

For vfat formatted sd-ext sdcards

Temporary: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/72935938/CWM-6.0.1.5-vfat.zip
Permanent: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/72935938/CWM-6.0.1.5-vfat.img

Follow same install instructions as above, except use correct names

------------------------------------------------------------------------

As always:

[WIP] Work In Progress

Not responsible for bricked phones, going bald, or your cat riding on your ceiling fan.

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

cm7 might take awhile. Got a ROM to compile, but no go yet.

Recovery won't affect wifi or mms. It has nothing to do with the "phone". Think of it as the porch to your house.

Actually:

UPDATED TO VERSION 6.0.1.5

Both Temporary (update.zip) and Permanent/root (*.img)

PLUS ext3 or vfat versions

Check OP

Right now, the CWM 6 does NOT partition the sdcard. Thus, WIP...lol

But, if you just want to try it out, use the 'update.zip'. The recovery you had before the update.zip flash will return next time you go to recovery.

If you want it permanent, and are rooted, then use the *.img. This change is "permanent" (It will always be your recovery, until you perm-flash another one)

Not sure where else to go for this question. If you need more info, just ask.

We're here to help

New version being worked on (now that I've got sdcard usbmounting and ADB working in v5)

File will be on another site (where the devs say "Yes")

Stay tuned.
