Anthony062991's kernel didn't rely on scripts, it was truly OC. The scripts he used in his first 3 ROMs never worked anyways...

i was under the impression that the way the previous overclocking method worked by using nofrills cpu or some other cpu app at to get the results.

this requires nothing. not even editing the init.qcom.post_boot.sh

there's more fine tuning to be done though.

let's expect a newer build or a few newer ones to get it all squared away and evened out. as i have time i'm working on things.

this kernel is snappy though. i can see and feel the difference. curious to see everyone's experience with cpu heat over extended periods.

If I remember the timeline correctly, it wasn't until 1.3 that the kernel came out. Also, all No-Frills is is just a gui for the kernel controller. Instead of echoing your settings manually, you controlled it with an app.

also,

i've got some more builds coming.

i've got three more versions but they need to be played with some more to verify they are working

link updated

newer, more stable build

had to sacrifice power for stability to keep the gpu from freaking out on lock screen resume

still out performs any other in my opinion
