I downloaded "android system info" and it says that I have 1% available ram. How can this be? You would think that my phone would lag more. I am a firm believer in "if it's not broke, don't fix it" but if I wanted to free up more ram what would I do?
 
I would question the accuracy of the app, if your not getting any lag then I highly doubt you have 1% ram. That is basically impossible, I think Android would crash/freeze if it was really that low.

The only way to get more ram is a task killer app, I myself do not use them or really believe in them but that is just my opinion. I think there is a good one in the market called ATK.
 
Why would you want free RAM? Free RAM is wasted RAM. The other thing is, the OS is fluid and is able to partition memory as needed and kills things that might be wasteful. What are you running that you're utilizing over 200mb of RAM?
