I have downloaded Avast Mobile Security to my S4. (GT195-05), with anti theft. I tried to insert a new sim card and the Avast Anti-theft tells me that the phone is lost or stolen. It asks for a pin number, which I can't remember. I then put my original sim card back in . It does the same thing. I cannot get into the phone now, which has basically rendered my phone useless. I have phoned my service provider and asked them for help. Went through all the security questions no problem. Turns out, that they cannot help me. they say I have to contact Avast. I live in South Africa and Avast is in the USA. It is a toll free call in the USA but not in S.A.
I can locate the phone on the internet and all that, but cannot access the phone via remote control (PC) as I never paired the phone with my PC. (stupid). Can someone please help me with this problem. I would really appreciate it.
