Avatar help

Im having trouble with my Avitar. I have resized it to the point it could be printed on the head of a pin, and still no luck. Moderator, Kelmar, has tried to help as well, to no avail. Thoughts? Suggestions? Should I pound sand?

Hmm. Nope, I can't get it to work either. I don't think there is anything wrong with your files, the problem seems to be on our end.

I know in the past we've had problems with all newly uploaded avatars breaking, and we have been going through a lot of site upgrades these last few weeks, so I'd bet that's the reason for the problem.

I'll let our admin, Phases, know and hopefully we'll get it sorted soon.

I am also unable to upload an avatar. I made a new one, which i usually just upload, at which point the site has always resized it for me, now, it appears to upload, but i get no avatar. I even tried uploading the old one i was using. That fails too. If i try using tapatalk, it says i "don't have permission to edit my profile" :banghead::banghead:

Unfortunately, no. Your previous avatars aren't stored on the site once you remove them, as far as I know, so you can only upload it again, which isn't working.

I'm having the same problem, tried multiple images, .jpg .bmp .gif all resized to 80x80 or under, all under 10kb...some uploaded some url linked...but none of them show up...

Hello and a question on the avatar subject: does the upload thing mean it is a picture from the hard drive? The website one worked but the pic is gone when I look at my post. I think it is "protected" by the site so I'll download if the hard drive is the other option.

It is good to have an edit ability for my post. I got the avatar right with the hard drive method of the two choices.

If you Phaser mean mine yep it is working now that I downloaded it to my computer instead of the linking method from the website.
