Root Average temperature for epic?

My phone is rooted running bonsai 4 and I was wondering what the average temperature for these phones are and what is too hot so I could cool it down, or stop whatever I was doing, lol

My phone has gotten to 111.0, lol. It did yesterday while using GPS, browsing and talking on the phone

this question cant be answered without first knowing a couple of things

1. ambient temperature around the phone, and air flow
2. is it in a case, if so what type
3. what is the load on the CPU, and is the screen on or off

without these 3 things at least the temp can vary wildly so there is on answer

I'm interested to know also as I'm recently rooted running SRF ROM and overclocked at 1.2 so just wondering what a danger temp zone is on my setCPU widget lol

I've found that "fondling" the phone and battery with the cover off will absorb some of that heat. I mean like hold your palm against it and move your hands around it. This is with my current Indulge, but it does work.
I was just reading up on lith ion batteries and learned that heat and over charging are among the biggest issues for longevity. So it pays to try to keep the heat down.
