My upgrade date is tomorrow and was wondering how the battery life on the rezound is. For my usage, I will mostly use my phone about 10 hours a day, using it mostly for surfing the web, playing games, using apps and watching some videos. I will also not be using 4g much, just mostly WiFi. So with all the things listed, how long do you think it will last on a full charge, or based on your usage, and I can't afford an extended battery

It's kinda hard to say because signal strength & screen brightness have a big effect on battery life. I think battery life is pretty good for such a high performance phone. Video will definitely eat your battery pretty quickly.
I get a full 5 bars where I work and I'll get about 3.5 to 4 hours of screen up time on a full charge over a 10 hour work day and then the 4 hours that I am at home before charging it overnight. I use 4G to go online at work at wifi at home.
On a work day I typically make about 30 minutes of phone calls, check email 5 or 6 times, do some facebook & you tube for maybe half an hour, surf the net to read news feeds & play some fairly low graphics games for an hour or so at lunch, plus other business related things like taking notes & pictures, making my schedule & to do lists. Plus I send or receive around 50 texts a day if not more. I usually end up with under 10% battery remaining at the end of the day on the stock battery and about 20% on the Mugen 1900 battery.
That same usage at my home where I get 3 bars at best, the stock battery will be in the red in about 2.5 hours of screen up time and with the Mugen it lasts about just over 3 hours. I get 0% time without signal at work and usually 15% or more at home.
Throwing the phone on the charger for 15 or 20 minutes here and there goes a long way to getting a full day out of the battery. Just charging it on the 25 minute trip home pretty much ensures that it will last until I go to sleep. I have found that turning the phone off and bump charging it twice in the morning keeps the phone above 90% for the first 40 minutes of use.

Battery life on this phone is fair - it's enough to get me through a day as long as I'm not on 4G. When I am at home and on a strong Wifi connection (for example on the weekend) I can get 20+ hours on a charge. If you are going to be hardcore pushing your phone with hours of screen time you may not be able to make it 10 hours, but if it's truly moderate usage you should be fine. Just in case, maybe pick up a spare battery on amazon for $10. Battery life on this phone is no worse than anything else in it's class (aside from the Razr Maxx which has twice the battery in it).

For heavy use, I've been able to get about 5-6 hours on average. But I also have to turn off 4G and only use 3G.
For moderate use on 3G, I've been able to get 8-10 hours.
The Rez has decent battery life for a smart phone. Especially since it has a HD screen. And 4G just kills batteries. Battery tech is not ready for 4G at this point.
I know you said you can't afford the extended battery, but it's really worth it. With it, I can keep 4G on, auto screen brightness, and with heavy it will still last 20 hours. Amazon sells the extended battery for the Thunderbolt for only $4 and works in the Rezound too, and then you can find the battery cover for the extended battery for about $15 - $20.
The Rezound is a great phone, especially because of the HD screen, it makes me want to use it so much.
Or you could get the RAZR MAXX. Supposedly that has really good battery life. But it doesn't have an HD screen.
