Root .avi files

[jaybo1973]

Hi all

I have quite a few tv shows in .avi format. I used to be able to watch em on my old phone and expected to be able to do so on the desire; unfortunatlely, I can't. Is there a player or something I can get to do so?

Cheers

*edit; sorry guys, this is in the wrong place. I have found my answer in the correct place. Mod please reomove

I am using RockPlayer and have been pretty happy with it. It plays avi files with no difficulty. Just make sure that you don't choose system player mode or you won't be able to play the avi files.
