Help AVI video file playback

I side loaded MoboPlayer onto my Kindle Fire expecting it to play my avi files like on my Incredible. It didn't play the file correctly, however. The video played with no volume and at an extremely fast speed. Please tell me I don't need to return this thing because it doesn't play avi files even with the codec included video players.

Glad it worked out. Which "other" Moboplayer did you install? I'd like to be able to play avi files too.

Does the audio stay synced on larger files? I've had issues with that towards the middle of some of my higher quality flix.

Sorry, just saw this. There are two Mobo Players for some reason. One by "Mobo Team," called Mobo Player, and the other by "Video Team," called Mobo Video Player. I had always used the Mobo Player, but when I factory reset my phone and searched Mobo Player, Mobo Video Player came up so I installed it thinking the icon just changed. Turns out they are different, and Mobo Player works on the Fire whereas the Mobo Video Player does not.

I haven't experienced any issues yet using Mobo Player.
