My battery life has improved greatly since my last post. I downloaded the battery left widget and went through a total drain and recharge a couple of times and things started to improve where I can make it through most of the day with limited useage.
I still find it confusing that all these different processes keep reactivating themselves after I stop them. They just add themselves back in and that is without a reboot so I am mystified as to how they get reactivated.
