I know it's only been out for a few hours.. but does anyone know if the black froyo theme works with Axura 2.2.7.1?

I am on 2.2.5.7, does my version currently have voodoo installed? I thought voodoo was like a normal app like OCLF?

So do I need to disable voodoo before flashing to another ROM?

So what if I was going to another ROM or non-voodoo ROM? Not that I am planning to, but it would be beneficial to know.

You would want to disable it then. If you were going to anything other than another voodoo enabled ROM. In all honesty it only takes a few minutes to enable and disable, so to be on the safe side I would just disable before you flash any ROM.

It seems as though they all come with voodoo enabled by default now (if they have voodoo).. so you don't need to disable. I have flashed nero 4.1 axura 2.2.6 and 2.2.7.1 without disabling with no problem.. if you are flashing nero 3 you should disable ..don't know about earlier axura version..

By the way.. if anyone else cares.. the current version of black froyo theme is not compatible.. :-\

The rule with themes is only use them on ROMs with the same kernel build. IE JL5 w/JL5. KA6 w/KA6. JK2 w/ JK2 etc.

Wow, just flashed 2.2.7.1 last night and it is simply amazing. Coming from nerov4.1 and i feel like it is miles ahead in terms of speed and smoothness. TW and Nero is a great great Rom, but this axura is stupid good.

Have you tried flashing the ka6 modem? That thing is stupid fast

For me the KA6 wasnt any faster than JL5 and seems in some cases, JL5 was faster.

No I haven't tried KA6 yet, but i now know what i'm doing when i get home from work

just flashed this rom last night, all is well except for one thing. Video camera is not working, just locks up when i push record. Anyone else got this?

It is a problem with the HD settings. You can still run the vcam, but you need to turn down the resolution. Master says he is aware of the problem and will have a fix for it soon.
