Root B&W Nook Rooting?

[below_radar_00]

Is it possible to root the B&W Nook? My friend has one and wants to root it to get the Kindle App so she has a more extensive book collection. I've been searching online but all results point to Nook Color...

Thanks for the reply. I know about autonooter, I did it on my friends Nook Color. But where is there an autonooter for the B&W Nook? I don't see it.

Yes, you can root the old Nook, but you can't do much once you do. Just buy a Kindle if she likes the e-ink screen.

All she wants to do is install the kindle app from the market and download kindle books. Is that not possible with root on the old Nook?
