Help Back button opening last closed app

When I use the back button to exit an app sometimes the last app I closed will open for a second. For instance if I'm in Facebook and hit the home button. Then go to the messaging app and back out of it Facebook will open for a second then close out.

That's pretty much the way that back works. It usually is supposed to back it's way through all of the steps that you've taken, both within in app and going from app to app. There are very few apps that actually have a close option - apps are just generally put in a background state when you press home or back to leave them, or open an app from a notification, etc. I'm not sure why Facebook would close after it opens, unless it's registering another back button press.

That is how it would work if I was in Facebook then went to texting via the notification bar. If I am at the home screen and launch an app the back button should take me to the home screen. Not to the last app. That's what the multi tasking button is for

When the "previous apps" feature was added I find I navigate a lot using it. Touch a button and it display and touch a screen image and it transfers me there. It seems much more useful then the back button (to me).
