Help Back Button Randomly Remapped to Volume Down

My mom has a Droid X2, and her back button has randomly remapped to the volume down button. It's now performing both functions of taking her back and bringing up the volume menu. Kind of annoying. Any ideas on fixing?

Apparently the device fixed itself. Odd

Either you have a misbehaving app or you have a faulty phone. If a factory reset doesn't fix it, bring it back for an exchange.
