Back Button???

[Michaelvg1]

So I have been using this phone for about a week now.. Love it..
Wondering if there is a user interface to use the touch screen more than the buttons on the bottom... Is there a way to hit the screen to go "back" or to go to the home page while surfing or in between apps... Just seems to me the back button on the bottom gets a lot of use and may not last.
Thanks

looool I'd be lying if I said I have not thought this same thing before

all of those buttons seem fragile imo and I actually just mentioned this in another thread.

I use my back button obsessively. I wouldn't worry about it lasting as i've had mine since launch.. As far as a way to go back without the back button. I don't know of anything personally.

There really needs to be a way to move back to screens using touch technology... some pattern method or something.

Dolphin browser allows for user definable touch gestures for moving forward, back, home, download, and about a dozen more things.
