Back cover creaking

Went from my s3 to the note 2 a week ago. Lived the s3,but I have to say the note 2 is absolutely awesome. Took a little while to get use to the size, but now I luv it. Had a otter box commuter case on it and am now so happy casemate has now released a tough ate case for the note2. I ve always had a casemate tough case on all my phones. I just ordered my toughmate case, and while I was doing some stuff on my phone without the case on it,I noticed there's some creaking from the back cover. The cover is on there tight so I know it's secure. I am a little anal about my phones, etc. since I ve only had a week I m not sure weather to go and exchange it,or if its a norm with all the notes being the back is plastic to creak a little. Thanks for any feedback

After swapping out batteries for the past couple months, my back cover is a little on the loose side as well (and creeks). It's nothing new for me though because the Photon back cover was very similar, where the clips were a little flimsy and didn't really stay on the phone strongly. At some point, I may ask Best Buy to have it replaced, but I'm dealing with it okay for now.

Its just probably the tabs becoming lose. I remember first time seeing and feeling the back cover of the gn2 and thought it was cheaply made. But I guessed thats the price we pay for a lighter cover.

That's why I'm a fan of unibody phones that are sealed. Just about my phones that had removable backs creaked and squeaked at some point after some use.

However, I gotta say my GS3 might have been the only phone I'd ever owned that didn't development the noise.

@ the OP, if it bothers you that much you can either try a return since your in the time frame to do so, or just order another battery cover from eBay.

I very rarely use the flip cover but when I do I notice it fits a lot tighter than the stock plastic back, good thing its the lugs on the cover, not the phone eh!
