back to stock with alltel

Need to get an Alltel HTC Hero back to stock for a guy. Where do I find the stock rom and how to I go about doing it?

I went back to stock yesterday and just used the HTC sync tool and download the update from the HTC site. There might be an easier way, but this worked for me
