Back up apps and settings?

I'm switching my perfect Black Evo for a white one today and I was wondering if there is anyway I can completely save my apps and settings without rooting the phone?

I already use appbrain to manage my apps, but i'm looking for something to save my screen layouts, wallpaper, bookmarks, messages, etc. Like a complete copy of my phone the way it is now.
