thanks

i understand now , do i have to download a custom rom first ? or can i just back up then reboot phone to stock till i see what am looking for

sorry for the daft questions

no, boot into recovery. (Turn off, then power on whilst holding volume down.)

Then use the volume buttons to go to to recovery and select with the power button.Once you get into the recovery, you select with the trackpad. Then you should be able to figure where/how to back it up.

hi
done all that. just re checked in recovery now and there are numbers there so i am assuming it has done a back up ? will look at roms now

thanks again guys
