Your backup was sent to /sdcard-ext/clockworkmod/backups. To move apps from one ROM to another, you should back them up before you flash a ROM with an app like Titanium Backup or AppKik. You can also pull apps, data, settings, etc. out of your ROM backups with AppExtractor.
Maybe its just me, but i cant for the life of me figure out how to use titanium. If i backup my apps on titanium, wont the app get deleted when i wipe for the new rom?
Ok, now i feel really stupid. WIll Ti backup back my apps up to the sd card when i use it? Or is there a better way?
Ok, now that that is out of the way. My other problem is TERRIBLE battery life. I have juice defender installed and set on the medium setting and i recalibrated the batter, but still the phone maybe lasts 4 hours on a full charge before its dead. Is this normal? Can it be remedied?
Four hours? What apps do you have installed and has it always been this way? Or, do you constantly play games and surf the web with it? Or, is it draining in 4 hours on stand by?
If it's stand by, I'd say your battery is bad. If it's still in warranty, I would take it back and get a new battery. if that doesn't work, sounds like your phone is messed up and might need to be replaced.
Without more information, we can't really help you.
I know with my X2, I had to leave town and forgot my charger. I went 24 hours without the charger, played some games, checked email, texted, made phone calls, and even listened to a Indianapolis Colts game (but turned it off after 10 minutes when they were down 21-0) and by the time I got back home, I was down to 14%. I am running an extended battery as well, so that helps too.
Might have figured some of it out. What are the 7 shortcuts in the top of the pulldown? All of mine were lit up blue and on...
So Eclipse has a known battery "issue". They say it's not an issue but I think it is because I didn't start seeing battery issues untill I flashed Eclipse. You basically have to do what's called a battery calibration which is to wipe the phone's internal battery "meter" or whatever the technical term is. Basically you are getting a false reading of sorts. Plus, Eclipse uses a 1% battery meter so you also notice the battery more often than you do on the stock battery meter. Now they say on XDA that again this isn't an "issue" but I think it is. (as much as I like the asthetics of Eclipse I don't use it anymore)Minimul apps, minimal just regular things that i have always had on there, even before rooting. It was fine up until i started using eclipse. Even after rooting before putting a new ROM in the battery was fine, which makes me believe its something to do with the ROM
