Root Backing up help.

Still new on the whole backing up process.
Would it be a good idea to move my CMR Backup from my SD to my Laptop?

Yea. Just make a copy to your laptop and keep one on your phone.

And when i need it just move it back to the CWM back up file?

+1 for sure. I'm always tinkering with my phone whether it be roms, themes or whatever so I often create quite a few back ups and keep copies on laptop and the latest one on my phone.
