Help Backing up my Infuse

Lurker
I am having issues with my phone. Just calling in and out , not anything else. I called my provider and they suggested I first do a " factory data reset" . So I would like to know how to backup all my contacts, photos etc. ,so that I can reinstall everything again afterwards. How would I go about this ? TIA

Yes, Titanium backup requires root, and it may invalidate your wireless company's warrenty. If you do not wish to root your phone, you may wish to try MyBackup. There is a regular non-root version (free), a root version (free), and a professional version, ($4.99) I have never used this product, as I am happy with Titanium Backup Pro, but here is the link to it on the Android marketplace.

Rooting and usuing titanium backup is the best way, or hmmm maybe installing clockworkmod and just reflashing the backup of your data (another name for apps in cwm) will easily in like 5 min put all apps and data back in instead of going through that stupid do you wish to install every app lol. Then just unroot but save the backup somewhere on a computer or something and do the restore. Then root and install the apps, then you can unroot again but I highly suggest keeping it rooted unless you have no idea what your doing or like breaking phones lol. If you would like the easy cwm way, just ask me (or us). Oh and you can easily unroot, if you do not like it.
