backing up phone

been havin a problem with my phone, HTC has told me to do a hard reset, but i want to back everythin up first but im havin problems, htc sync says i need outlook which i dont have, and google sync isnt workin on the phone. is it me goin wrong somewhere. cheers scott

If your contacts are aren't synced with your google account, it isn't set up correctly...also, if you hard reset, look into MyBackup Pro, free for 30 days I think.
