If a reset was done, those apps are all ruled out anyway

Just need to rule out that OP isn't using a UVOC Kernel and/or custom rom, then we can almost certainly say its hardware

Mine is stock froyo 2.2... it did go on a reboot loop once after I restored my contacts and sms's !! after that I been installing the nifty apps that I need .. thats all

still hoping that , the reboot that happened earlier was the ONLY one !

EDIT: before the factory reset I also had force app2sd installed !!
