Backplate

Just got my evo today and it's amazing. There is only one probable problem. Right next to the 3d switch the backplate does not seem to be attached. I can easily lift it up right there. Does anybody elses evo have this problem?

Mine has also had a gap since day one, but in the top left corner (by the HTC logo.) It doesn't seem loose and isn't very noticeable, so I'm living with it (plus it gives me a place to get a thumbnail in to pop the cover off.)

The back on mine is firmly attached, all the way around. But peeling it off right under the camera button is the only way I can get it off :D

^^Do you know if its just a replacement of rhe same backplate or a different one that may fit better. When I opened my VM evo package the plate was already off meaning it wasnt attached right or fell off in tje box. Mine is also loose....superb quality phone minus that aspect. Thanks

Mine doesn't fit quite right either. It's hardly noticeable, but on the left, under the usb port, it's not as snug as it is the rest of the way around. I put a piece of tape on the phone, on that side, underneath where the cover is, and trimmed it around the clips, and now it doesn't bother me. At first it did bother me because when you gripped the phone you could notice the squishy spot, now I don't. If it gets worse I guess I'd try a new back.

My wife's evo arrived a couple days ago, and it's back fits perfectly! I should try her back on my phone, to see if it's just the back, or actually the phone that is different.
