Kinda confused on what to exactly do before i flash a new rom or start freezing unwanted apps. Do i just backup with titanium backup and also perform a nandroid backup in hboot? Do i need to do anything with with rom toolbox or rom manager? If i am correct, titanium backup will restore my apps to the new rom and nandroid backup will allow me to restore back to my current phones settings if i decide i do not like the new rom i flash to.

thanks

Yes, you are correct, titanium restores apps after installing a new rom, nandroids restore your phone to a previous point just in case something breaks or you want to switch back to a fully functioning rom.
