Help Backup App

Was rooted but found my battery draining completely in less than a day so unrooted & now looking for the most complete data backup app for non rooted systems..?

Doesnt have to clone the rom or anything just backup apps app data & the usual junk..

Rooting by itself cannot affect your battery life. It had to be something you had done while rooted to affect battery performance.


As far as non root backup apps, its going to be very limited. Apps need root access to read/write another apps data. So basically you can backup the apk with an app like my backup pro, but you won't get any data.

Right now it looks like a non-root backup setup is:

Dropbox for pics and videos
Google for phone settings and contacts
Helium for apps and app data

I haven't tried helium yet but it looks nice.

That is correct as RX mentioned, if you simply rooted, and that is it, that had nothing to do with your battery drain.
