Help Backup apps, and phone reset.

So i have WAY 2 many apps.. and its starting to slow my phone down..
i was wondering instead of uninstalling apps.. and stuff to just do a reset to factory settings.. If i do this and BACKUP my apps will my saves still be there? for games and stuff of course... or does it just backup the .apk?

look at appbrain or for sd back up i use system panel

Saves? as in game progress? dunno 'bout that one

Yes, as in game progress.. or settings in other apps.
