Does either titanium backup or my backup pro backup cyanogen settings on the ginger villain Rom? I don't want to loose my settings when I upgrade to a new version of the Rom.

You dont need to wipe between different versions of GingerVillain. However, yes Titanium does.

I was having WiFi troubles on ginger villain so did a full wipe and upgraded to 1.4. But I did a full backup with titanium backup.

I have done a restore and its not restored CM settings, android settings. Wallpaper and messages.

Any idea why?

What restore option did you use? Did you definitely have CMparts app and data backed up?

I did "backup all user apps and system data" and then used "restore all user apps and system data" .

There is CMsettings in the list which I have restored but no luck. Also tried to restore my sms but no luck.
