i cant turn on my device all the way to the homescreen so i dont have any access to the data. the thing is i have very important photos and videos on my device.. is there any way to access the data or to backup the device before i send it to repair (they will earase all the data..) ??

Have you tried to connect your phone via USB, to your PC and seeing if Windows Explorer can read the contents of your Internal Storage, as I'm assuming that is where the data you wish to keep is stored. This is a long shot as it requires that USB debugging was ticked prior to your phone going down. You may find that you will need to install the Samsung PC Suite, Kies, to obtain the drivers to allow this connection.
