Backup SMS/MMS

[xbroogw1]

How do you back up SMS/MMS messages? I use GoSMS Pro and updated to ICS. I did a backup using GoSMS and tried to reinstall it on ICS, but the GoSMS backup only backs up settings. Is there a way that I can back up all my messages and then reinstall them all on ICS?

Thanks.

I use

https://play.google.com/store/apps/...1bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS56ZWdvZ2dsZXMuc21zc3luYyJd

It backs up all your text messages to your Gmail Account.

I use SMS Backup and Restore. It stores all your SMSs in a backup file rather than Google, but both programs are equally useful.

As this question has been asked in the "All things Root" section, I'll just add that SMS/MMS can also be backed up via the Kitchen App if you are a CheckROM user.

SMS Backup + here.
Just had to restore 5k sms after installing my last ROM and it got there in the end
Main thing is though because it's stored on the cloud I don't have to worry about replacing/ losing SD.

Try this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mdroidapps.smsbackuprestore

Try this app:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mdroidapps.smsbackuprestore

It does not support MMS.
