My Desire reboots at every opportunity so I decided to get it replaced.
I did a full sync of the old phone, contacts, numbers, texts etc etc like a good boy.
I now have my new phone today, upgraded to 2.2 as per the old phone but when I go to sync, it sees the IMEI and says this phone has never been synced!
So is all my data backup now useless as it wont back up from one device and restore to another?
Have I totally wasted my time?
