Help Backup to MicroSD?

Depends what you mean by phone data.
You can just use windows explorer to copy and paste folders on mass between internal and external sd cards.
however system files are not visible through explorer so if it's just data eg music, photos etc. then explorer will be ok.
 
Quick question,

If I rooted my phone, would I then be able to back my system files up before I was to consider to putting a ROM on there? I'm scared of fudging the thing up, and not being able to recover, I was the same when I had my iPhone before I jailbroke that, i'm fine once i've done it.

I'mma read up some more.
