Root Backups and Freeing up Space

Lately I have been getting some low memory messages when I try to install new apps and they are beginning to bug me. I recently flashed the amonra alternate recovery, then got Velocity 0.3 which I am loving. I made nandroid backups in the recovery of my stock rom and Velocity.

After getting some of the Low Mem. messages I looked around my SD Card Usage in astro and saw that I still had two backups from CWMod, which I don't even use anymore thanks to the awesome alternate recovery.

Is there any use for any of these backups? Because they are taking up a lot of my valuable SD Card space, and I'm too cheap to buy a new one. Any suggestions?

Thanks for any forthcoming help :)

Well if you currently have at least one nandroid on your sd card and don't have anything important on your other backups then there's no reason to have them. You can delete them in rom manager or mounting sd card on your pc and deleting that way.
