Root backups?

[tokyoglow]

I usually do a NAND backup before flashing a new rom or going on an adventure but I always have wondered what the other options for the recovery backups exactly were

whats the difference between NAND, NAND + ext, and BART backups?

Decided to do a search for this online, came across another forum that sort of explains it. Hope this helps!
