Before I say anything else let me remind everyone to stay on the actual topic of this thread. Second let me remind everyone about our zero tolerance policy, if you are unaware of it there is a link in my signature.
Now, with that out of the way let me say this:
AF is a community and the Captivate is apart of that community. All over this forum there are negative people and there are negative threads. It is an unavoidable fact of life that some people are just negative. There are also posts that are misinterpreted because they are on the internet and we all know that text is not the best way to show tone. The key is to avoid being negative yourself when dealing or not dealing with these people. Use a smiley when posting something to represent your tone if it may be questionable. Ignore people that are just trying to start something. Report posts that are against the rules, inappropriate and/or offensive. Use the ignore feature in your User CP if somebody starts to become a problem for you. If someone is helpful to you then show them you appreciate it with the thanks button. If you have the chance to be helpful to somebody else, do it.
Along these same lines, I know that Moderators are all power hungry, trigger happy, ban hammer wielding, post deleting, thread merging psychos that want nothing more than to ruin your day, but in reality we really are here to help.
If you need us, let us know. We do what we do because we like this place and we want you to like it too.
Now the real question: Will any of you continue to post in this thread to find solutions for your part of the forum or will you let it die because a moderator posted.
